"Through Winter Wheat," 2008

Though I've been here a while, I'm still surprised when, during the dead of winter, I come upon a field of vibrant green grass. The winter wheat is planted in late autumn and lies dormant - but green - until spring. It is a nice contrast to the leafless trees surrounding it.
